1. Introduction
Save4.io ("we", "us", "our") provides a website and Telegram bot for retrieving media from supported links (the "Service"). This Policy explains how we process personal data. Contact: save4org@gmail.com.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to www.save4.io and @Save4io_bot. Telegram, source platforms and other third parties process data under their own policies.
3. Information we process
For Telegram bot requests, we receive Telegram first name, last name (if supplied), user ID and technical information included in updates received from Telegram. We process submitted URLs, source-platform category, download status and temporary media. Website and infrastructure requests may generate IP addresses, timestamps, device or browser details and diagnostic or security logs. If you contact us, we also process information in your message.
4. Purposes
We process data to handle download requests, deliver files, operate and secure the Service, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, respond to inquiries and comply with applicable legal requirements. We do not require third-party account passwords.
5. Media and retention
Temporary media, Telegram identifiers, request information and download metadata held by the application are kept for no longer than two (2) hours. Railway infrastructure/application logs are retained for no longer than seven (7) days. The stated limits describe our Service-controlled operational data; separate third-party retention and any legally required preservation may differ. Support correspondence and information necessary for a legal request may be retained for the time required to address that matter, where applicable. We aim to delete or anonymize data when no longer needed.
6. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process request data as necessary to provide the requested Service, technical security data for our legitimate interests in protecting and operating the Service, and data as required to meet legal obligations. Optional analytics will be used on a consent basis where required.
7. Cookies and analytics
We currently use Google Search Console to review aggregated search performance. Google Analytics is planned but is not currently represented as active. We do not currently use advertising pixels or Yandex Metrica. If optional analytics or cookies are enabled, this Policy and any legally required consent controls will be updated before activation. Essential technical storage may be used if needed for functionality or security.
8. Recipients and transfers
Railway provides hosting and infrastructure. Telegram independently handles communications through its platform. Source websites may receive technical requests needed to process user-provided URLs. We may share limited information with service providers or competent authorities where lawfully required. Data may be processed across borders; applicable transfer safeguards will be used where legally required.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Service data. No system is completely secure. Do not submit private URLs, passwords, access tokens or sensitive information.
10. Your rights and deletion
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, withdraw consent where applicable, or complain to a competent data protection authority. Email save4org@gmail.com with your request. We may request proportionate identity verification and respond within applicable legal deadlines. Data that has already expired under our retention periods may no longer be available.
11. Age restriction
The Service is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly provide the Service to minors. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided personal data.
12. Telegram bot
Telegram may separately process user account, message and technical information under its own terms. The bot receives information that Telegram makes available for the interaction. Users should not submit confidential information.
13. Changes
We may revise this Policy and publish the updated effective date. Where legally required, we will provide additional notice.
